Let Jarmak Corporation add some history to your projects…
We’ve recently completed another job salvaging more beautiful vintage oak pilings from Boston Harbor. Many of you in the Boston area are familiar with the Lovejoy Wharf Restoration. For years, this prime piece of real estate on the water across from TD Bank Garden has been abandoned and neglected. The original buildings on the wharf were erected around 1907, and occupied first by the Submarine Signal Company, and lastly by the Massachusetts DMV. The area has been slated for redevelopment, and the Jarmak Corporation, with the help of local contractors have been hard at work cleaning and clearing the site of debris and saving the valuable oak pilings from the icy waters of Boston Harbor.
Once the pilings were removed (click here to watch some short video clips on our Facebook Page), they were transported to our sawmill, Antique Lumber Co. where they have begun to be processed into the finest reclaimed oak flooring and millwork. Our Amish craftsmen pride themselves on the high quality work that Lancaster County, PA has become known for. Our reclaimed Boston Harbor Oak flooring is truly a one of a kind product that will last for generations (below). We have a very limited supply of our popular Boston Tea Party Oak, and Jimmy’s Harborside Oak still available, so give us a call for samples and pricing before this historic wood is gone for good!
